- Artist’s Remarks:
- "This is an exorcism. I wanted to forget. It was about something... maybe my wish to hand weave a baby's blanket. I was told it would be better to make a knitted blanket... that it shouldn't be woven... then I wouldn't need a loom."
This print "gave reality to a futile desire. It's a kind of regret... a bit of anger. An attempt at asserting the futile is better than nothing. It's one of those stabs at recognition... at affirmation. Then the feeling goes away."
