- The edition of version 2, only state, was published as a benefit for Les Méditerranéennes Médiatrices de la Paix, France.
"The Olive Branch" is Bourgeois's contribution to the fundraising portfolio "Art pour la Paix," published by Les Méditerranéennes Médiatrices de la Paix, a humanitarian organization dedicated to promoting peace through conflict mediation and cultural exchange projects.
The portfolio contains 22 prints by 22 artists. In addition to Bourgeois, the other participants are as follows: Arman, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, François Boisrond, Pierre Buraglio, Jean-Marc Bustamante, James Coignard, Philippe Favier, Fabrice Hybert, Jean Le Gac, JR Leloup, Jean Miotte, Jacques Monory, François Morellet, Bernard Pagès, Ernest Pignon-Ernest, Jean-Pierre Pincemin, Bernard Taride, Bernar Venet, André Verdet, and Jacques Villeglé. - Curatorial Remarks:
- The paper type and composition size could not be documented because this work is not in MoMA's Collection and could not be examined in person. The sheet dimensions were provided by the Louise Bourgeois Studio.
