Background:
Printer Felix Harlan believes that he printed these impressions on the press Bourgeois kept in the basement of the home on 20th Street. The artist's welder, Simon Rybansky, cut out the plate.
Curatorial Remarks:
This impression consists of two printed sheets, joined at the center.

The medium of the signature could not be documented because this impression is not in MoMA's Collection and could not be examined in person.
