There are variations in the arrangement of the beads across this edition. Two impressions are illustrated in the Evolving Composition Diagram for purposes of comparison.

There are variations in the fabrics used in this edition, including scorching and staining, as is commonly found in the old fabrics Bourgeois chose to use as printing surfaces.
