Changes from state I in drypoint: three oval forms in abdomen added.
Additions in black ink: further delineation overall, anticipating state III.

Other Remarks:
According to Bourgeois's assistant, Jerry Gorovoy, the imagery in this print refers to Bourgeois's preoccupation with the mechanisms of the body and, in particular, bodily fluids, which she called "precious liquids."
