- Drypoint, with blue ink and pencil additions
- Inscription:
- Verso: "Rorshack [sic] test / ink blots" lower center sheet, pencil, artist's hand.
- Other Remarks:
- Felix Harlan, of Harlan & Weaver, remembers that the artist always had blotting paper on her work desk. The paper was used to dry proofs printed on the small press Bourgeois had in her basement. It is possible that this composition derived from an ink stain found on the blotter.
